Advanced user of SnapHireSnapHire has a lot of capabilities that render it an effective ATS for many different organizations, and it is a favorite among many nonprofits. Very importantly, the customer service is superbly personal and thorough. It's reliable in that there have never been any outages or losses of data. It interfaces with many different programs, allowing easy cross-posting and management of applications.
For the product it is offering, it's quite expensive. Newer ATS companies are providing elevated services that candidates and administrators love for a much lower cost. The interface is clunky and outdated, and it makes for a poor candidate experience when setting up the application, sending out communications, and designing the experience overall. Categories don't always make sense and the organization of the system itself can be confusing, leading to difficulty when trying to make modifications. Lastly, the metrics available for sourcing are very hard to navigate and are often unreliable.
If you are a smaller organization, definitely go with something cheaper like JazzHR or something similar.
SnapHire is very comprehensive, which both works for and against it depending on the type of user. For candidates, it feels outdated and ineffective. From an administrator perspective, there are great benefits in tracking, note-taking, scheduling, and numerous other features that keep the organization on top of duties.
