Comprehensive and flexible HR and Payroll System

What do you like best?

The company itself works with you to implement the product according to your specific needs. The customer and tech support is very responsive. Once it is implemented, the software is very intuitive. The system allows for many levels of permissions, custom workflows, communication and employee engagement tools, and the system is mobile.

From the end-user perspective, the system is very clear and provides access to all employee documents, including benefits, PTO balances, leave requests, timesheets, and so much more.

From the employee engagement perspective, the system allows for team members to give "shout outs" to each other, which has been a great tool to keep the workforce engaged during COVID.

From the onboarding and position control perspective, the system has a "seat" management that allows for very tight control of position requisitions. Workflows can be set up in such a way that checks and balances are in place. It all depends on how you set it up from the get-go. And for that, Datis support staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

The system allows for integration with many other platforms as it is based on SQL.

From payroll management to the integration of company values, objectives, job descriptions, and even an employment applicant system management, Datis e3 is a very comprehensive solution.

What do you dislike?

There's a learning curve to every system. The system does provide with a lot of support materials and videos. As the system is moving to being more mobile, implementation is slow and some features are not fully deployed. They have a "road map" for implementation of new features but they have not always kept up with their own timeline.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Consider a demo. Get a comprehensive picture of what you want the system to do for you. Have multiple eyes look at the system. An implementation of a product like this is a long-term investment.

Datis has helped us solve our payroll and HR management system. Benefits include a great degree of control over internal workforce management processes, with the ability to delegate decision making process based on custom workflows.
