Using TechTarget as a BDR for better quality leads
What do you like best?
You are able to see which people are looking at your website and downloading your content. We were also able to submit a suppression list of current customers to focus solely on net-new opportunities. Target lists are easy to build and customize depending on your requirements. I was able to build out 3-4 different lists relatively quick and set up automatic exports.
What do you dislike?
The only downside to TechTarget is not being able to export contacts by themselves. If I find a specific contact I, I have to manually type their information into HubSpot as an integration hasn't been built out like Salesforce. My biggest recommendation would have their team build out the 'one-click export feature for other CRM systems besides Salesforce. Our onboarding as a little rough. Shortly after we went live, our account rep no longer worked at TechTarget and the new one assigned to us was fantastic and we were able to set up additional training.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Ask about their plans to build out other integrations. I think this is a way to grow their userbase
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
I have only started using TechTarget last week but am eager to see results come in. With TechTarget I feel like I am able to target buyers more frequently instead of wasting time calling into those who aren't the right person. With the few calls I've had with people, it seems I was a little late and they already have specific vendors selected, but they could have been researching the weeks prior where I wasn't using the tool.
