What do you like best?

before we used oracle ebs we used oracle - it is not comparable at all however when you get your hints it is easy to use as you can for example not only use an asset ledger but also a project ledger and combine them. Beside you can run several reports and set addtional reports such as an blitz report which extracts realtime data really fast for example of the GL journals

What do you dislike?

which is from an accounting perspective not right is when you change an asset or add an addition it recalculates backwards to the time it was set up. example you purchase an asset in 2018 and under IFRS you have a one year window to revaluate then it would not calculate the revaluation of the time it was revalued but the original purchase date

Recommendations to others considering the product:

depending of the company seize and the license fees consider using oracle ebs and offer the key users a sufficient training as it is different to other erp systems such as sap and navision

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

mainly setting up one common erp system within our company. achieving comparability and cost benefits
