Advanced user of ArcGIS Runtime SDK for .NETThe SDK is an all in one solution for all your needs from design to debug using .Net. we can easily design maps and share geographic information to other third party plugins using objects created with ArcGis. The geographic data compiled using this engine is more accurate and easily compatible/integrate with all other application. Its even faster to analyze mapped information and visualize with no hassle. Even though I know python, I feel its more easier for me to write code in .net with this SDK compared to that of using ArcPy library for python. the pre=built libraries are also useful at times and its totally worth it giving it a try for even budding developers because of its ease of use.
Even though the development part is so easy using python/.Net sdk but testing the developed application becomes difficult due to its incompatibility with most of the popular automation testing softwares like UFT and Test complete etc. I recommend to resolve this incompatibility so that most companies would lean towards using this product. This only improvement can really gain a lot of market.
Best tool for geographic information system space for working with maps and geographic information using .Net framework.
We used ArcGIS .Net SDK to develop a custom map and other design elements for our customer's web application. It took around 3 months for the complete end to end development by the testing part got a little tricky and finally we got customer satisfaction for making the project a success. The maintenance was also a breeze to do.
