Nothing much except there are some plugins which are not available in personal development instance, so it is tough for people from different background to learn it. Another area is certification, Servicenow should open up with more flexibility for non-background people to do certification in service now.
We are heavily relying on Service Now Platform for our internal process framework execution such as request record tools, incident management, Monitoring events, Security we are exploring right now, HR module is also about to get enabled.
