Easily solve major issues, however struggle in simple stuff
What do you like best?
Not only effortlessly but also in a simple way you can set up your database and it's backend. I really appreciate it. With just a few clicks the database can be established.
It enables the use of tamplates to set up a consistent layout.
What do you dislike?
It struggles to set minor changes in the front-end. Despite having bought Work With Plus, which is supposed to solve front-end issues, I spend most of the time fixing paddings or alining items.
Moreover, I find frustrating the time it takes it to build. It should be a 64-bit program.
The documentation provided is pathetic. There are just a few examples, no idex, vage explanation. That cause that learning requires plenty of time.
The support that Genexus provides is awful. It never gets the point,
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use the forums to solve your problems. If possible, find an expert that guides you.
Try to use Genexus as backend combining a different front-end.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
I am currently implementing web apps in the factory, addressing several issues that were previously tackled with excel, dramatically increasing production and diminishing workload to users.
Furthermore, we were able to gather information that was in excel files onto one extensive database.
