What do you like best?

Workday is incredibly user friendly. I love that each organization can customize so many things to tailor it to be relevant to our business. I have worked for a few companies that used Workday for various things, and I really love the customization and differences I can see between the companies. I like that information is easily accessible to me and easy to edit, customize, and access. I also love that I can track my time and hours, absences and requests extremely easily, and my manager can track all of our time/hours and time off requests as well. I love the directory part as well.

What do you dislike?

Some features are limited, and I don't know at what level that is decided. I wish there was more I could do or access sometimes on an informational level. But I think that is due to my company/organization. We have a lot of things that I know Workday can do on different softwares. So, it makes for extra steps when looking for information that I need about my employment status, pay, etc. I also don't understand some of the errors and notifications that I get, even when I've completed things that need to be completed or need updating.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Workday helps us all stay connected by identifying ourselves in an inclusive way. My company is always seeking ways to incorporate diversity and inclusiveness into our organization, and by using the data we can collect in workday we can track pronouns, race, gender orientation, etc. This is really cool in an inclusive environment and makes everyone feel valued! It also helps me manage my time really effectively, and keep track of my time off requests, and allow me to collaborate and work with my manager to make sure my time is being used effectively, as well as our whole team being able to coordinate our time off requests, etc.
