Advanced user of User Interviews

Quality consumer interviews with just a few clicks

What do you like best?

The best thing about User Interviews is how easy it is to find and engage with quality consumers through their platform. You can customize your searches for any need or project, and you can still find users in a matter of days (trust me, not even proSapient or GLGL are this efficient). Another huge upside is the ability to host all calls either in person or through your own Zoom/ Teams account (thus avoiding poor quality calls which ocurr frequntly if you are forced to use a vendor's platform/ dial-in). I also appreciate the opportunity that you have with user interviews to not oly perform 1 on 1 interviews, but also consumer panels, surveys, and logitudinal studies using the same consumers; I have not tried these options so far but I am sure that they all meet the same excellence standards and easiness of use that you get with the basic/ "entry level" service that I have used.

What do you dislike?

I guess one key opportunity/ downside to User Interviews is that they only cover English-speaking countries; it would be great to have access to other geographies and markets. Another area of opportunity is that, at least when I last used it, you could only pay the interviewees with Amazon gift cards, this might be skewing the canidate pool, as I am sure that more people would be inclined to join User Interviews if more payment options were included (e.g., VISA or MasterCard gift cards, crypto payments, etc.)

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Before using User Interviews, I would strongly recommend diving into their website and understand their service from both perspectives: as a researcher and as a consumer. In doing so, you will realize two things: one, which type of consumers you need to get in contact with, and two: which kinds of questions and answers you need to meet your objective while using User Interviews.

I am solving the problem of having quick feedback and real-time reactions to my MVPs and concepts. I have realized the benefit of capturing a realistic market sentiment quickly and easily.
