What do you like best?

Creating and customizing your own users forms and fields and setting the security levels. Creating auto-email alerts. You can create your own auto-email reports to monitor the integrity of the records depending on your programming or scripting skills. I created few of those reports and send to me via email when inconsistency of records are entered in the database. You can create the most common used types of variables fields ( string, numbers, dates, etc) and selections can be free-text or drop down list. You can create reports in two methods, one is the built-in standard where you can select tables and linked them to build you datasets and you can create calculated fields using inherent fields. Another method is by importing your customized reports created from a stand alone form designer ( if using the limited built-in standard method not capable ). You can customized the Customer Survey and have an email alert sent to the management team when low rating are sumitted as well as good comments.

What do you dislike?

Four Rivers (now Accruent) does not provide databse structures to users, so you have to figure out which tables and fields can be linked.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Allowing users to create custom fields and complex report, I would recommend hiring strong database and SQL designer to optimize the use of TMS onsite.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

New rules implemented by the regulatory agencies can be challenging when it comes to meeting the preventive maintenance schedule of critical and non-critical devices in healthcare facilities. Only if you have a programming skills and very well versed with building SQL to transcribe the business rules adopted by your organization that you can build reports that can virtually escalates PM priorities. Allowing users to create custom fields and building datasets is the ultimate benefit of using TMS onSite.
