The Applicant Manager (TAM) is a cloud-based applicant tracking solution that helps recruiting agencies and teams to streamline their hiring and onboarding process. The solution lets users track job postings and actively engage quality candidates. TAM provides toolsets that allow recruiters to review, select and share applicant information within teams.

TAM allows posting job details on multiple free and paid job boards such as Indeed, GlassDoor, Monster and more. Agencies can also link their social media channels such as Facebook and LinkedIn with TAM for posting job updates on these channels. Recruiters can configure rules for screening and pre-screening applications to automatically remove under-qualified applicants or duplicate entries. TAM provides advanced search features to search or filter applicants by using keywords, ratings, skills, tags or a combination of these.

TAM integrates with major email service providers such as Gmail and Outlook for centralizing contact and communication details. With TAM, recruiters can collect and store confidential applicant data including EEO, disability, and VETs details to comply with OFCCP regulations. The onboarding module allows users to design and share the onboarding process with new joiners.

The solution can be accessed using web browsers of any internet enabled device including smartphones.

Best applicant tracking system I've used

What do you like best?

I love how customizable TAM is. Ive used many different applicant tracking systems in my career but the problem that i've found with the others is the lack of ability to customize. Working in the government contracting industry my candidates require a security clearance. Other systems I've used don't allow me to easily, or even at all, create fields for clearance information and levels. This is just one of nuances in this industry that I need my applicant tracking system to be able to sort by, run reports on, and identify. The folks at TAM were able to show me how to create fields, prescreening questions, and store information for this. It is very easy to set up so that the user can create exactly what they need to see for their specific industry requirements. Other systems seem to be based on a very generic version of what someone in the recruiting/staffing industry should need and doesn't recognize that not all industries are the same. I also love that it integrates with my email to capture all of the back and forth with my candidates so that I can go back and revisit candidates years later and remember all of the correspondence with them. Plus the staff at TAM doesn't just set you up and disappear. They are always available to help make changes or review updates they've made. They are dedicated to making sure that their customers are getting the most out of their tool, which is also extremely reasonably priced compared to its competitors.

What do you dislike?

I would like to see a little more flexibility in the reporting features.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I am able to track hundreds of open positions and the candidates that apply. I can see the last time I communicated with all of the candidates to make sure that I haven't forgotten to stay connected with anyone. i was able to create a custom work flow of steps and I can get a snapshot of where all of my candidates are in my hiring process, or how many candidates I have at each step of my process for each of the open positions that I have to for each of the contracts that I am working on. when candidates answer my prescreening questions I can quickly see if someone meets the minimum requirements for each position and if not I am able to still respond to each and every applicant with a click of a button based on event triggers that I set up which sends an email, again that I customized, for me to them that will reiterates the position that they applied for and, their name, etc., and why they aren't a fit. It saves me a ton of time having to respond to everyone while still responding to everyone. TAM saves me a lot of time by automating a lot of features without making it look like its "automated'. It allows a much more personal feeling.
