Synergy transformed the management of our projects and helped us recover fees easier

What do you like best?

Synergy is very easy to use and it is already setup for engineering and architectural practices. Short learning curve and easy to implement in day to day company operations and project management.

What do you dislike?

Synergy works through a web-based platform accessible through IE, Chrome, etc. They could provide as well an app that could provide a number of the things that someone can do through the web-based platform (such as completion of timesheets, or send files though the project communications portal, etc). Hopefully Synergy will offer this in the near future.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Highly recommended for firms providing engineering and architectural consultancy services. Implement it in your day to day operations and you will get to know the insights of each project and how it performs.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Synergy is an excellent platform that can help managers to have a deep inside in the profitability and performance of each project. Knowing how each project performs, setting KPIs to the staff, and monitoring performance and metrics of each project is an invaluable tool to an engineering team manager. By using Synergy I was able to figure out our real costs, and understand where my team needs improvement to catch the KPIs. Also, I was able to understand what is the exact impact of costing a project too low.

Furthermore, I was able to track accurately projects billed on an hourly rate, and by printing the work hourly rate report I was able to convince the Clients that our invoice was correct.

It is very easy software to introduce to the daily operations of an engineering practice
