How does it work?
Storyboard does not generate source code to be compiled but instead generates a data model that is in turn executed by an engine that is specifically targeted for resource-constrained embedded systems.
Storyboard is specifically designed to be extensible and timeless. By not relying on a specific set of GUI widgets but instead leveraging standard file formats for graphics and fonts, Storyboard allows designers to craft GUIs using tools that they are most familiar with such as Photoshop, Sketch, and 3D modeling software. Later on, when the GUI needs a design update, the interface can be quickly re-skinned with a new look without affecting the underlying logic of the system.
