What do you like best?

The best is I can share my screen with other team members while on call. I can call overseas colleague free at any time with Skype on both sides. Skype gives me freedom to quickly share files and documents of any format with my teammates. Also one impressive feature of Skype that I like is Recording, I can record ongoing conference calls audio, video, screen share to knowing others so ultimately After call ended I can remember things by using recording, This feature is mostly useful in training and knowledge transfer sessions. Using Skype people find me and my status is it available or busy or on call etc Ican easily and quickly set my Status so others will know. Also if any one on skype in organization is offline I can still send them IM and they get notified like missed message. Using Skype I can set meetings, training sessions, project discussions virtually. Audio clearity is crystal clear. We can call on landline number as Well using Skype. We can use Skype for business in on organization server so no worries for data and other security.

What do you dislike?

Dislikes are not so much, but yes some of them are User Interface of Skype is somehow old, Also There are two windows opens at a time one is base window and other is chatbox window so this one is also I don't like much. Also in chatbox I am not sble to find old message by using search option, there is no such feature available in Skype to serch specific message using 3-4 words we can search, so everytime When needed to find old message need to scroll down all chat messages and is time consuming. Aslo I dont find background noise suppression feature in Skype. Also I am not able to set background in Skype video call.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I will Recommend Skype for business to all small to Mid to large scale businesses. I am using Skype for long time and from then to now Skype has Improved itself a lot in all aspects compared to other softwares, so everything works smoothly no training needed to handle Skype. I will Recommend Skype for business to all for Audio video calling, Multiple people conferencing. Skype is having some attractive features that can definitely be helpful in your daily office work like recording, poll creation etc.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I am using Skype from long time, It is very useful tool for me, as It connects me to my teammates and other colleagues in this current Pandemic situation where everyone is working from home. I am using Skype for my official purpose for IM to internal and external colleagues & clients. Whenever I stuck in any project work and tasks or I have queries I can quickly share my screen with manager or responsible person using Skype and gave hime control of my screen so that they can able to give me quick solutions so for me this is the greatest problem solving. As per my Profession I need to set a lot of meetings with outstation plants and clients so Skype gives me time slot of them and I can set meetings. I am using Skype for Audio as well as Video Conference calls to internal and external communications.
