Advanced user of SetSailSetSail pins every rep up against the rest of their segment, awarding points for tasks that are determined by SetSail and our organization to directly influence productivity and success in our roles as individual sales contributors. At the end of the week, the top 7 reps (of points) are rewarded with CASH which they can cash out as gift cards from a ton of different vendors. I have been racking up the Amazon cash with this!
It's not a totally perfect system - if reps don't keep decent CRM hygiene, they may not get awarded points for certain actions. BUT the fix to this: SALES REPS, KEEP YOUR CRMS CLEAN!
SetSail is truly a productivity booster and fantastic motivator. I have had some down months in the past couple quarters from a revenue perspective, but SetSail was still able to recognize my effort and inputs in doing the right things to set myself up for success, even if I wasn't recognizing the revenue at this moment. Super motivating for me as even though I was having a tough time, I was still able to actually come in the top few positions because of how hard I was working to put in the right inputs, then I blew out the months following those down months from a revenue perspective. If working hard is your style, SetSail will be great for you!
