Simple to use, meets needs, seamless analytics.

What do you like best?

Simple to use for marketing users, but flexible enough for advanced users with front end skills.

Great range of targeting options for experiments. Seamless integration with google analytics.

What do you dislike?

Some users in my organisation would regularly reply experiments too broadly (causing errors). I do wonder if there may have been a way to make that easier.

Page-level testing only, would have been good to test different journeys or analyse results for a user across multi sessions.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

This is a great place to start your AB Testing journey. Installation takes only minutes, it's simple to use powerful features and it's free.

There are plenty of other great paid tools around, but think this will meet the needs of beginner and intermediate users (and frankly 80% of the needs for advanced users).

Unless you have advanced capabilities in analytics and UX, this is a great starting point while you upskill.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Google Optimize was able to meet the vast majority of our AB testing use-cases with targeting by page, device, and many more options.

This has helped to improve our engagement and conversion KPIs across our websites.
