Why Is This Not a Standard Application for Everyone?
What do you like best?
When juggling numerous projects at once, there are several features of Gmelius that are lifesavers. First, being able to send an email at a certain time makes it one less task to complete. Whether I send a reoccurring email or if I am writing an email during odd hours, I can get it sent out scheduled or during normal business hours. The follow-up feature is essential when communicating and coordinating via email. By having emails pop up back into the inbox after a set number of days or timeframe to follow up on, it helps to stay on top of communication deadlines. In addition, templates that can be easily modified help with reducing the amount of time I spend typing up emails. Once I started making templates, I began to realize how the majority of my emails can be replied to by using templates.
What do you dislike?
When trying to do multiple tasks, such as sending a scheduled email and having it return to my inbox during a certain timeframe to follow up on if there is no reply, that feature was something unavailable. I have to pick and choose what feature is more important to me. In addition, I am unsure if this is something across the board, but when I load up Gmail, Gmelius does not always load up. I will have to restart the app manually or refresh the browser several times to have Gmelius active.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Before choosing Gmelius, I did try other programs that would help with managing your inbox. Other programs did lack features and the ability to customize certain features. Unless you don't receive 100+ emails a day in your inbox, then this program may not be necessary. But, why work harder when you can work smarter?
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
The main problem that Gmelius solves is maintaining constant communication. Before, some communication would go days without a follow-up, but now I can keep a consistent follow-up going.
