Confluence for a tech startup
What do you like best?
Confluence is great for helping our company maintain all documentation, standard procedures, etc. We have a lot of different technologies that we use, so it is great to keep everyone on the same page and house all of these standards. It is also very integrated with Jira, which we use heavily, so it comes in handy for the knowledge base from Jira bugs, retrospectives, release processes, etc. We can keep all of this up to date and organized with confluence.
What do you dislike?
The web app has a tendency to be quite slow, which makes it frustrating during retrospectives, etc. I wish the web app was faster.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
We have been able to consolidate different individual's knowledge into one central area. Prior to confluence, our standard procedures were scattered in different team members' notes, files, etc. This would make it frustrating and inefficient for other team members to perform tasks if they had to reference notes, etc.
