What do you like best?
CloudBees Feature Flag is the only platform which can be used by an Agile Team to manage daily build releases and automate orchestration. If you are having a product which has multiple features based on license terms. It helps developers to check the code in a prod environment and allows them to test it with a selective audience instead of all users. Helps to innovate quickly and expedite continuous delivery to the product. Feature flag has different types which includes boolean and String data type for distinguishing.
What do you dislike?
Automated test cases can be considered as one of the disadvantage which CloudBees Feature Flag can handle more easily. Price can be considered quite high and also the Demo version is very short which i think should be extended for the projects which are evaluating Flag Release Tool. In some cases we faced issues with the version overriding which impacts ongoing operations. Down time can be reduced as it hampers overall business.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Feasible and more controlled deployments was one of the business centric requirements and we wanted to increase our deployment with flag feature enabled, so that we can reach prod servers more quickly. All of our concerns were well handled and hence it helped us to maintain high quality to our end users. It makes sure that orchestration of deployments can be handled without any error.
