Brightpearl provides much needed tools and leverage to do better work.

What do you like best?

As an e-commerce DTC brand, Brightpearl provides benefits throughout our organisation. We looked for a solution that could help us: manage inventory accurately and flexibly across multiple sales channels, service our customers and answer their queries with better oversight into different parts of the business, e.g., inventory allocation, order fulfillment, and fundamentally empower us through technology to grow our business more efficiently. Brightpearl provided a solution that beat any other provider on the market that we looked at and at a price point that we could live with. We also pay attention to where and how quickly Brightpearl is developing because that means an improving product, which allows us to achieve better outcomes in our own output over time. Brightpearl does the core things well and outsources the rest to providers who dedicate themselves to those solutions, such as connecting to shipping providers to create shipping labels or managing listings across multiple sales channels - that makes for a scalable solution.

What do you dislike?

The UI is a bit overwhelming for new users however we've noticed they get used to it quickly and can navigate themselves well after a few days using it. There's not much to dislike about the solution Brightpearl provides, particularly when considering what are the alternatives available in the market.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Like a lot of brands, we were thinking about how we can scale more efficiently. After implementing Brightpearl, adding a new employee and teaching them our systems is much more pain-free. Moreover, having accurate and timely information around orders and inventory along with a tool to leverage that information to, e.g., fulfil orders ready for shipment or create purchase orders means we can now spend that time saved on other activities. Another problem solved was how we could reduce information silos. With Brightpearl, any information on the tool can be made available to specific people. Our customer experience team, who deal with customers daily, can now serve customers in a fraction of the time and without asking anyone else, e.g., when some SKU will next be in stock or what the status of their order is.
