Advanced user of SlimWikiIt's cheaper than most of the competitor wiki solutions, and you honestly get what you pay for.
The best redeming factor to this is the slack integration, allowing you to search the wiki (but not provide the data, only a link to the page visible to those with login/view access. Honestly it is simple, and that makes it nice.
It is really basic, and it doesn't save automatically, nor does it provide a notification of someone editing, or allow you to switch versions, cross reference changes, etc.
So if you work with another person and edit, you'll kill the changes one made by updating it from another instance. You get what you pay for. It might be simple, and that could work for you, but if you want more control and better features this is not your product.
We are trying to have a group location of our accounts to cross reference and update in a universal place. The benefit is that then everyone has the up-to-date passwords to all place. And that we can quickly send eachother links in Slack to the location in the wiki the other needs to start searching. This is really effective in onboarding new personel because you can just tell them to access a particular site and instead of slacking passwords and usernames, just slack them the article that has (example: Jira username) the info they need. Then they will have it and can get started with the next step.
