What do you like best?

CommVault Synthetic backups is a great time saver. CommVault provides amazing all inclusive coverage; while more pricey than some of its competition, it provides a much lower total cost. Its capabilities are truly unique and excellent in many areas such as single pass backup for granular recovery.

What do you dislike?

As all Commvault tools you need a lot of time and human resources full-time dedicated to design and deliver the solution.

I highly recommend CommVault. The bundled support and hardware package married with Simpana software, truly makes this backup and recovery system.

In the company we use commvault as our enterprise backup. Year ago we had multiple backup systems that we were using and still use. My goal has been to roll out the commvault backup system to every area of our organization. is a excellent tool.
