What do you like best?

Unit4 Financials allows you to create highly-customized screens and portals that can be tailored to the needs of the various user groups that will be accessing the tool. Additionally, it comes out of the box with multiple methods to directly interrogate the database and post financial documents, eg. through Java API calls or direct links into Microsoft Excel. These capabilities allow you to rapidly develop custom interfaces for your customers.

What do you dislike?

There can be significant setup required initially, but once you are over that major hurdle, creating additional masters is made much less tedious as existing companies and/or subsets of company masters can be copied and modified with ease.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Unit4 Financials' handling of multiple currencies and currency revaluation has made setting up new international businesses and maintaining a single core Financial tool for an entire organization very easy to realize. The customizable nature of the tool allows you to create exceptions and special processing rules for specific situations without requiring system changes to the core tool itself, making it infinitely extensible.
