15 Five is a GREAT product!
What do you like best?
It has helped our team tremendously to keep up with projects, tasks, 1x1s with our manager, and more. I love how it gives a mood check- if that week isn't going well it's nice to be able to notify our manager immediately so things can be remedied and not swept under the rug. It's truly a great product. Give a high five is cool too because we can recognize our co workers for their work. It sends weekly reminders to complete so your manager can review before your 1x1.
What do you dislike?
There aren't a whole lot of downsides. I wish projects from the fifteen 5 would migrate automatically as talking points to the 1x1 so those can be discussed with management. It would also be better if the 1x1 was built into the 15/5 instead of a separate area because it ends up being extra work to migrate talking points and such. It would make things operate more efficiently. In addition, connectors to project management software like Monday.com would be great so we aren't putting double the effort in to report our work.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
We are solving the problem of consistent development, temperature checks of employees, and continuous improvement of self and company through the power of encouragement snd 1x1s. Often times, employees are overlooked for formal 1x1s because they are doing a good job and don't specifically need the reinforcement. However it's still important to pulse check them and be involved as a manager. Especially with their development.
