An amazing platform for crisis texting
What do you like best?
We utilize ZipWhip as a crisis text line for youth from Kitsap County in Washington. ZipWhip allows for not only our administration number to be utilized as a text line for our youth but also if they are to call the text number they still are able to connect with our administration staff.
What do you dislike?
I wish that there was a way that we could identify who was online and logged into the system. Having shift work we never know who is online at any given moment and sometimes there are multiple people that respond to a text at the same time which can be confusing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a great platform for any setting.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
ZipWhip has allowed us to create a platform for crisis texting that provides mobility for our volunteers to respond to youth messaging in. Prior to ZipWhip we were using a platform that was only computer based and we lost several volunteers due to the fact that they didn't want to be tied to a location and having to sit in front of a computer. They can now use the mobile application and be anywhere.
