Advanced user of Zippykind Delivery SoftwareBeing able to assign deliveries to different teams and having the ability to track each team in real time has been a big help. If you set up each delivery team with a separate color, then assign each delivery you have to different teams, your will be able to visualize your day's activities very easily, as each stop will be in different colors. The app is very easy to use. As you assign each delivery to a team, and route your deliveries from beginning of the day to the end of the day, your drivers will be able to easily know where to drive next and what needs to be delivered.
Entering in deliveries addresses in other states will not auto generate an address, which can then not be verified by Google maps on Zippykind.
Uploaded pictures are vary low quality and very small size which make it difficult to see.
"On Duty" option should be able to be managed by Admin, rather than driver.
Spend some time at the beginning and make sure this program will fit your needs. There are many additional options that are not included, but could really help improve your communication with your customers. If Zippykind fits your needs, purchase the largest prepayment plan to help lower your per delivery costs. Using Route Optimization has been a huge help as well. This allows you to either select a pre-figured route or select your own route. Training your team and making sure each used is comfortable with how both Zippykind.com and the Zippykind app functions will be a small chore, but will be worth doing correctly before launching it live.
Visualization of all deliveries for any given day allows for better routing, allowing for narrower delivery windows, and more efficient use of employee resources, making it more cost effective for hours worked. We found that we could also save on fuel, as we were running our trucks extra miles, accounting for extra manpower and hours that were not needed. Also, we were spending extra hours managing the deliveries. Now that time has been cut down to 1/4 of what is used to be.
