★★★★★
FMS with advanced setup and customization options

What do you like best?

A great feature is You can combine any parameters and form into a formula and show the result in end user interface using a sensor.

The user interface, modules and options are very customizable.

Reports and Notifications are something you really enjoy setting up due to the level of options and customization, though not something easy for beginners to do the advanced setup.

Viewing trips information on the map directly is possible and very convenient to watch.

Geofence data reports can run retroactively, which is something unique in this platform (other platforms I used did not provide me this very important option).

You can almost use any GPS tracking device on this platform.

User engagement logs are good, though they need some more options and improvements.

Combing fuel information within the reports is possible however, product team should work with end users to develop some more practical use cases.

What do you dislike?

It lacks any visual views of critical information or insights. there is a dashboards but it's literally useless and its options have no sense at all.

There are some inconsistent hidden/unknown backend calculations happen in reports, not even one from Wialon customer service is able to figure out how results are calculated. Example: talking about driver behavior ranking calculations when you sort by driver and average the violations by travelled mileage.

Sometimes, due to the very huge number of integrated device they have on their platform, It takes ages for Wialon back office team to admit that there is a fault belongs to their side, they used to blame the device manufacturer, the local hosting server or others rather than troubleshooting the problem properly from their side.

It's quite hard to prove that there is something in the platform makes no sense or to convince them with the need to change even for very minor stuff; their logic is a bit different from what I used to deal with other people.

Extracted reports are used very basic Excel setup and no way to be modified.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Increase mobile employees productivity and reduce operation costs.

Prevent fuel consumption.

Increase fleet efficiency.

Improve driver behavior and habits.
