Does a good job checking uptime, but is a little lacking in displaying information

What do you like best?

So far, it has done an excellent job recording when our site is up or down, which is its primary purpose, so it's good it gets that right. Uptime has a lot of integrations with other platforms (Slack, PagerDuty, etc.) and we have found that very helpful. Additionally we have found that they have a very good API as well as good documentation for how to use it.

What do you dislike?

The graphs they have to display the data are a little lacking. In the graphs for displaying the data for checks your only options are to see one line with an average of all the locations or to select a specific location. Our previous solution was able to see lines for each location, which can be very valuable if you want to see if a certain location is behaving abnormally. Another thing that I dislike was some of the alerts could have a bit more detail. For example we get an alert whenever there are greater than 1 location down, but it would be useful to know from that alert if it was generated becasue just one location was down or because all the locations are down (which would be a much bigger issue).

Recommendations to others considering the product:

There are many different uptime monitoring solutions out there, but uptime does a pretty good job at what it's supposed to. It may not have the fanciest features, but if you are looking for a decent quality uptime monitoring service, uptime.com does an excellent job.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We use it to notify us when we have problems with our site. Additionally we use it as a way to see how the performance of our site varies from different locations around the globe. We are also planning to use it for a status page but haven't set that up yet.
