Advanced user of TubularTubular provides a HUGE database of online video insights acrss both content creators and influencers and has a very easy to use, but detailed, interface and reporting capabilities. I love the depth of detail one can go into to find the right person or video, but also the ability to quickly scan large sets of data for quick turnaround analysis.
The main downside of Tubular for many is likely the price point. It can seem expensive given the 2-seat minimum requirement, however, there is a wealth of data available so depending how you maximise this the investment commitment vaires.
Think about the different use cases for the data and insights the platform provides as there is a lot more usage in it than just finding content creators or popular/relevant videos.
I mainly use Tubular in two ways:
1. To find, monitor and compare influential users
2. To augment social listening reporting with additional data (using Tubular as a secondary platform alongside a dedicated listening tool)
I have also used it across issues/crisis monitoring, competitor auditing, campaign analysis and owned channel tracking.
