Advanced user of Soundtrack BusinessThe best part about soundtrack for business is that it can be installed on any device. Other similar music solutions require you to purchase a specific player/device in order to stream the music. Soundtrack also comes with a remote app, so you can have it playing on one device, and control it remotely with another device.
Interface is clunky. Functionality is limited. You cannot make your own playlist, without using the consumer version of spotify and then importing it. All the premade soundtracks are good, but the options are limited. Certain genres are not represented.
The other major issue is with billing. We currently have 2 subscriptions, essentially for 2 different playback devices, but all under one account. Yet I get charged for the two subscriptions separately. My credit card gets billed twice per month. This is an accounting headache, and totally unnecessary. Give me one bill, and let me pay it with one payment. Also, since this is a business service, they should accept Purchase Orders and Net terms, but they don't. They only accept payment via check.
If this is simply background music, and you don't need a lot of control ability, you will be very happy with this service. If you will frequently change stations, or need to pick specific songs or playlists, this service is not for you.
Music at events in public spaces. This allows us to remain in compliance with copyright laws and other streaming music restrictions, such as user agreements.
