★★★★★
Highly Versatile and Granular
What do you like best?
The amount of granularity and customization. Our team is able to set up and roll out A/B tests with high specificity as to who we are targeting and what we are testing. SiteSpect offers the ability to set up a very large amount of metrics and filter our results to ensure that we can get the clearest picture of how our users are interacting with our site. They also offer a robust set of analytical tools such as graphs and charts to help us visualize the data. They are an account-driven company and they take the traditional approach to ensure we are satisfied with our use of the app. They even offer a set amount of consultation hours where they can help us analyze our data or suggest possible tests we can try.
What do you dislike?
There is a relatively steep learning curve. It would have taken me a long time to figure out how to use it if I didn't have my teammates tell me how to use it. Their interface and onboarding certainly could use some work. Their app has two sidebars the user has to switch between in order to navigate to certain pages. It sometimes creates a guessing game as to what link is where. They would be better served using a single sidebar. Another recommendation I have is to clearly explain what each section is for and how it is used.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Work with the support team and account representatives to help learn the program. It's very difficult to figure out on your own, so this is basically a requirement.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Using SiteSpect allows us to test if proposed changes to our website will result in an easier user experience and higher profits.
