SearchMyFiles is an alternative to the standard “Search For Files And Folders” module of Windows. It allows you to easily search files in your system by wildcard, by last modified/created/last accessed time, by file attributes, by file content (text or binary search), and by the file size.

Advanced user of SearchMyFilesSome of the things I like best about SearchMyFiles is that it is lightweight, portable and easy to use.
I like the fact that it doesn't need to be installed to by used, and can be run from a USB stick.
It also gives you the option to search for files using different attributes such as file size, file content and time file was created.
There's nothing I dislike about this software. It works as it's expected to.
I use SearchMyFiles carry out searches that the regular Windows "search for files" feature often can't perform convincingly. With this software I'm able to search by wildcards and also able to search for recently created files within a particular size category.
Because of these capabilities, SearchMyFiles help me perform operations that aren't possible using the standard Windows search feature.
