Advanced user of SDL Trados StudioIt is the industry leader in CAT software, and always has been. SDL Trados Studio is THE MOST feature-rich CAT tool available commercially - there is no comparison. It is not the cheapest. It does not have the best customer service. However, it is the BEST. I have tried almost every commercially available CAT tool on the market, including standalone, PC software, as well as web-based solutions over the course of 15 years. If I absolutely had to choose just one CAT tool, it would undoubtedly be SDL Trados Studio 2021. Despite it's extensive functionality and adjustable settings, it is surprisingly intuitive and user-friendly.
Their pricing and licensing scheme. Their lack of customer service for those who don't pay for expensive service contracts.
No problems whatsoever. I am loving it. I have realized the benefits in substantially increased productivity, quality, and profitability of my freelance translation operation.
