Advanced user of ScilabI use 1st time Scilab in my under graduation, when we pursue graduation in physics we have encounter a lots of differential equations (likes Harmonics oscillator , Forced Oscillator, wave equations) without plotting graph of these we can never understand what is going on the system, how the system behaves with time. The best thing about the Scilab it is provide X-Cos simulations features here we can provides various input to the block and see the how the function behaves.
when we define some functions sometimes show error, I think scilab help sections not very proper but you can take help by community. Scilab help section should be better and easily understandable.
I'm not any employee of the any company. I'm just a grad student if you are student or employee you can learn scilab programming very easily. Lots of resources available online.
Most of the time I solved differential equations likes oscillating circuit (LCR, LC circuits) it very difficult to analyze equation of motion which is the form of differential equation, So in Scilab we can plot the graph and see how the function behaves with time. In mathematics and physics we encountered various polynomial function like ( Legendre & Laguerre Polynomial) which is very difficult to drawing to after 5 order but I draw very easily by Scilab by just defining function.
