I overall liked using ResortSuite as a Spa Concierge agent at the Lodge at Woodloch.

What do you like best?

-I liked how easy scheduling was using resort suite for both service providers and the overall hotel to share data.

-I liked how easy and quick the software was to make bookings over the phone or with difficult guests.

-I liked how easy it was during closing time to do commissions reports for the entire spa, such as services products, and each department.

-My Boss and our team were able to increase revenue during quarterly periods with the pricing structure and availability functions.

-It was an easy software to use for gift cards and certificates.

-Very fast to check in guests to our spa.

-Easy to manage staff schedules of our spa providers, class instructors, and outdoor teams.

-Easy to book and manage the dining room area and share data.

-Easy to double check reservations for guests in case there was a problem or issue with booking through reservations. (That way when guests arrived they were able to have a high level of excellency experience at our hotel and spa. As everything scheduling can be reviewed to maximize the guests time during their stay and not have to take out their wallets during each activity.)

What do you dislike?

- I found it hard to book classes such as fitness, art, or outdoor activities due to class size.

- I found it difficult at the end of the evening during closing to count the number of guests where they were staying, or bill out guests due to their packages at the Lodge at Woodloch, and their extra expenses such as classes signed up for. It would take me a lot of time to have to individually go over each guest and their package. Where I felt I could have used that time in a more efficient way.

- I sometimes would have to create another folder to bill them out, my team and I sometimes had difficulties by billing twice.

-Sometimes programs would freeze and I would have no way to exit and would have to call IT, which decreased profit sales and time.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I thought it was an efficient and great software to use in Spas and hotels.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I thought the multi-vendor approach was great. It enabled us at the spa side to use the software to collaborate with the resort side and have corporate overview through PMS or POS systems. It seemed this way the entire hotel was able to run smoothly and oversight scheduling.

From spa treatments, classes, room reservations to dining reservations, your front desk and reservations staff can get access to all information we needed to know about a guest when combined with other ResortSuite modules or multiple spa locations.
