Simplicity in a complex kubernetes world
What do you like best?
Simple to set up clusters on bare metal or cloud providers, with simple commands and good support through Slack and other channels. Platform9 helps to simplify the cluster setup and visibility. And includes metallb, which helps to externalize your Services for outside consumption. And keeping aligned with standards (not going proprietary).
What do you dislike?
Though Platform9 masks much of the complexity, kubernetes is still pretty complicated, but again this product helps you get going much quicker than others I've seen.
There's been a little disconnect between the available docs (which have good level of detail) and the currently version of the product deployed (docs are for newer version, not the one currently available to some users)
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
The ability to quickly stand up bare-metal clusters for development and to keep costs down by using available equipment, while offering a consistent approach/tools to deploy to multiple environments/clouds
