What do you like best?

Where do I start? The PlaceIt tool is an online application with so many different tools and templates. I am a marketing guy by trade, but not a full-fledged graphic designer with years of experience in Adobe Aftereffects or Premiere Pro. It was really refreshing to come across a tool that would offer so many different options for adding video, graphic design and animated composite style work to my toolbox. I do like the

What do you dislike?

Would like to see additional edit tools to add a little more flexibility in the text fields that are available in the video tools and templates. Would like to see a place where folks can offer up suggestions for new features and templates of their own that the PlaceIt team could then work into the mix for others to use. Would also like to see them add a multi-channel video editor that could utilize all of the different design elements into one project. Would like to see them add the ability to save projects with a unique name so that they could be used again but with slight adjustments vs starting from scratch on each project. Would like to see Envato create a multi-product license that would cover all of their tools. This would be similar to how Adobe offers a multi-tool sub for the creative suite. Wish they had a tutorial page with videos to help learn the best practices for using their app.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If you are looking for a tool to offer very professional video and graphic elements to your marketing campaigns without having to add countless hours of training in the Adobe creative suite or adding additional staff to your team, PlaceIT is a great "Place" to start. Be prepared to practice using the tool to get the desired outcome, and don't be afraid to incorporate the final downloads into other tools.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

With the PlaceIT application, I am saving many hours of video and graphic design work that would be needed by a team of people. I am a one-man marketing dept that can now bring many different elements to our marketing efforts. I really appreciate the video animation tools and the mockup design tool. There are plenty of templates under each tool to help offer unique designs and videos to your marketing efforts.
