What do you like best?
Nakisa is a lease contract repository that is decently easy to use and has a somewhat pleasing user interface.
What do you dislike?
My biggest problem with Nakisa has been with user training. I dislike how complex the training materials are. So far, I have not be exposed to nor have come across any quick start guides. However, I have been given several hours of online course work to complete and have also been asked to attend a training with a Nakisa team member via web conference. The Nakisa trainer was both dull and difficult to follow. My own team's power user had to stop the Nakisa trainer on several occasions and redirect him to better suit our time. The web conference training lasted over an hour and a half, and I don't think that Nakisa's team member provided much value. Our internal power user wrapped up this lengthy session by saying that uploading a lease agreement is actually very easy and that we should just contact him for a 5 minute demo whenever we need to use the tool.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You will want to dedicate a team member to learning the ins and outs of the system so that they are able to serve as a trainer for the rest of your organization. Both the online courses as well as a Nakisa provided trainer did not meet my expectations. The online courses were exceedingly lenghthly and our Nakisa trainer was difficult to understand and a dull presenter.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
My company leases corporate space all over the globe. Prior to having Nakisa, we had no solution other than SharePoint for storing these documents.
