What do you like best?

Kindful is is a very user-friendly database as compared to our old system. They have helped us manage and organize data and contacts to allow us to not only be better at donor retention but has us working more efficiently as well. The customer service is top-notch, and always answers my questions....and I ask them a lot!

What do you dislike?

Duplicate contacts are added when multiple categories don't match up. It makes sense why this happens, but this can increase profile numbers which make the price go up fast. It takes time to organize if you let it get out of hand. But it isn't detrimental, and the function of Kindful makes this a moot point.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Always ask questions before moving forward with anything. Don't only ask for an example, but ask for a contact to talk through who uses Kindful. They are fantastic and have plenty of customers who are happy to share experience before you set up. This will ensure you are set up best to begin organizing your data. And they always respond; customer service is my favorite part.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We have people buying products, participating in events, and donating. We have learned to use different systems for various things, and Kindful has good partners. We just did a large fundraiser with a text to give a platform, and there are some mix-ups with the way it integrates with the API. So working through logistics is what we work through, but it isn't affecting the donors, which is the most important. However, with Kindful, they do things well, so they want to get it right! And this is the most significant benefit, and we can talk it through with a person quickly and help make sure we are running smoothly.
