What do you like best?

Kahoot is a very fun way to engage students as they review material. The previously made ones on the Kahoot! Discover page are such a great resource for teachers in a hurry. It also lets you have in-person and virtual people participate. I like that you can pause the game to have time to cover questions that students may have struggled with. It also saves a report of each student's progress which is really helpful to communicate with parents. I use it when a student is not particpating and a parent feels concerned about their progress. It is a good way to have evidence for in class behaviors.

What do you dislike?

I dislike that it is difficult to format math. I use a lot of symbols like square roots and other radicals and it becomes difficult to type. I also wish there was a better way to preview images. Sometimes, the images are too small to view like a graph of a function. Also, you have to be careful with the types of questions you choose. Since students earn more points based on their speed, they tend to rush rather than stop and think through the problem.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Let students pick the review so that they have more choice!

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I am able to review very easily and use previously made resources. The students really enjoy using it as a way to review. My students also really like to find ones for the whole class to use. This strategy helps students take the initiative with their learning. They also are more encouraged to participate if they are the ones picking and finding reviews that will help them.
