What do you like best?

Easy to customise for individual use, easy to administer Users

Report extracts into Excel format

Useful tools to manage holiday entitlement

asp service means always using latest version of the software

What do you dislike?

Not easy to amend time sheets once they have been approved.

The asp service we use can sometimes run slowly and make data entry painful

Number of useful features are add ons with additional cost

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Produce a plan of all the areas where time recording information will be valuable. Be mindful of the balance between the granularity needed by the business versus the effort to complete the timesheet by staff. Think about whether email notifications should be enabled as administrators of large teams can receive many emails.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We use JX to manage weekly hours, overtime, holidays and sickness and to calculate the percentage of time spent on 6 key functional categories.

Using this data we can assess staffing levels and confirm that we are expending our effort on our core business activities. We also use this to bill clients.
