Wonderful cost effective program for small practices

What do you like best?

This is a very flexible, easy to use program for small and solo health care offices. I was able to set up several of my charting templates myself! Billing is a breeze and I love the ability to email paid invoices to patients to submit for extended health providers. It almost never crashes (say that! Clinic Master and Clinic ND), and it easily accessible wherever you can link to the internet. Email reminders to patients and patient online bookings work great.

Oh, and it's a great deal less expensive for a small practice than almost anything comparable.

What do you dislike?

The integration with MacOS can be a bit bumpy on the Java platform, and some features (such as direct emails to patients) simply don't work if you don't run Outlook.

My main beefs, however are three. Practitioners need reminders if we haven't tidied up a billing or finished a chart, and there is no such feature. We also need an organized way to recall patients electronically if they don't book follow up when they are in the office. Given that I generally follow up monthly or bi-monthly, this is very important to practice growth in my profession.

The third issue are all those PDF files. If I have to upload a large file (say to transfer a patient to another provider or for a legal case), it is ridiculously time consuming to open and print (or save) all of those files individually. ARGH!

Recommendations to others considering the product:

For a small practice, this is a wonderful program and great company. I'm looking forward to the new updates!
