IBM ODM-Business Rule Excellence

What do you like best?

Myself Pavan Vaidya from Maharashtra State in India. Currently I am doing a job in IT sector. I am working in Tata aig General insurance company or say that insurance domain. I am working on ibm odm tool which means operational decision manager tool.

According to me,IBM ODM tool helps in build Business Rules. It also allows the management, testing and governance of this business rules and events. Most of the industry leading this business rules management system and this tool has following components.

1.we have to use eclipse for writing java code.

2.also We have to import XOM model.

3.create the Business Object Model

4.creating rules .

5.deploy it on server.

6.test it on Rule execution server.

So this tool is so easy to understand and perfect for building business rules.

This is business rules example:

If amount of loan>100000 then reject the loan;

According to me ,this tool has following benefits.

1.We can easily create and modify business rules.

2.Our business analyst also modify business rules anytime.

3. We can edit our rules using Microsoft word or Excel.

4.We can also design decision tables in this tool.

5.We can easily test and deploy the rules using this tool.

What do you dislike?

According to me it's future scope is hard to predict but it is long time run in business industry or corporate sector.
