What do you like best?

HWMonitor helped me detect and view all my hardware on my computer, such as the CPU, memory, hard drives, and graphics card. It will list out all the information about your hardware such as the power usage, utilization percentage, temperature, and core frequency. I regularly check on HWMonitor to make sure that my hardware, including the CPU is running at acceptable temperatures. There is not much configuration, and it is very easy to use straight out of the app. No set up required.

What do you dislike?

Sometimes when I launch HWMonitor, the screen is blank so I have to relaunch it or reboot my PC. However, most of the time, it works very well. That is the least of my concerns.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Last month, my computer was overheating and HWMonitor helped me find which component in my computer is the culprit of the overheating issue. It turns out my graphics card was overheating and when I opened up my computer to check, it was surely right on the spot. HWMonitor saved me countless hours of troubleshooting because I was able to find what is the overheating problem using HWMonitor. This way, I don't have to hire an expensive computer IT to fix my computer when HWMonitor can show me what is wrong with it instantly.
