Hired is the easiest, most efficient way to hire the best tech talent, period. We give you access to a highly qualified pool of candidates — both full-time and contract — that are ready to interview now. Each of these individuals is considering new roles and has been screened through a combination of proprietary algorithms and an in-house curation team.

Through Hired, employers have transparency into candidates’ desired salaries, industry preferences, competing opportunities and more. This level of insight is unmatched, making the recruiting process quicker and more efficient than ever before. Hired is committed to building equity in the hiring process through a more representative talent pool. We’re proud partners of various organizations that help expand representation in our talent pool including #HIREBLACK, Techqueria, The Knowledge House and more. Our platform also has a bias reduction and salary bias feature to help remove unconscious bias when hiring. Hired was founded in 2012 and was acquired by Vettery in 2020, together as one company, we support recruitment in the United States, Canada, and the UK.

What do you like best?

That candidates are automated and provide me exactly what I am looking for. Through their algorithm, I am able to see the candidates align with what I am looking for. In addition, the response rate is pretty high in comparison to traditional platforms. Candidates are actively looking when using this platform which means they are more likely to get back to me quickly and to remain engaged throughout the process.

What do you dislike?

When working on more specialized skillsets I would not say that Hired is the most effective. I also work on other skillsets outside of the traditional full-stack which include (App, Front End, QA/QE, and AR Engineering). I have had a hard time finding strong skillsets that align with the positions that I am looking for. What I will say is that it has gotten better over the years and I have seen a lot more profiles come in for these skillsets. In addition, I have had some luck when interviewing Hired candidates and have made some really good hires from this platform.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

There are a couple of issues that I am solving when working with Hired. The first is the candidate response rate. Because Hired is a platform of active candidates they are very likely going to respond quicker than traditional platforms. This allows me to get things to move a lot faster and easier. In addition, hired also helps with volume. Through this platform, I am able to get a lot more candidates into my pipeline a lot faster.
