What do you like best?

Provides a single pane of glass for network security issues across corporate offices, data centers and AWS. Great for spotting unexpected traffic patterns, malware infections, possible system compromises, DDoS activity, etc. The tool greatly assists in the review of system logs. For example when you see a log entry that is suspicious but you are unsure if it is evil, FlowTraq can provide traffic visibility of the system to see if there is any abnormal behavior.

What do you dislike?

Took a bit of work to get the demo going.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Most tools that leverage netflows use the data to provide network performance insight, with security being a possible secondary function. FlowTraq is primarily focused on security, so the feature set is better focused for this type of work.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Packet captures alone can be cumbersome to try and leverage to get the big picture. FlowTraq provides this high level visibility, making it easy to identify where you need to drill down into the network.
