Great way to populate large document sets
What do you like best?
Documate is a powerful software with, as far as I've seen so far, unlimited functionality with respect to what you can do and how you can customize your documents. The platform is easy to use, and allows for complex logic and generation of multiple documents at once. I also love that I can use reference/lookup tables to store data easily. I was able to learn how to Documate (yes, I use it as a verb now) with just a 10 minute demo. The customer support is amazing, too.
What do you dislike?
Honestly, I haven't found anything I don't like yet. I have tried so many other softwares out there, and this one has by far been the most powerful and easy to use. It might be nice to have more examples of what can be done, but I often go to the Slack group to ask other Documate users if I don't have a particular form that I need.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Documate is wonderful! They have a free trial, too, and their support is unlimited even during the free trial, so you can learn quite a bit about whether it meets your needs!
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Cutting down on document generation time drastically. I am able to complete my work in a fraction of the time, make it error proof, and spend more time with my kids that I would be spending on document generation.
