Advanced user of DeBounceI hit the ground running with the free credits and immediately saw the value in checking my list (and preventing the wrong names from getting on the list, which I underestimated the importance of). They were also the best and easiest to use while still providing the technical (API access, docs) that a tech role would need. DeBounce increased our conversion rates. For example, eliminating inactive/throwaway e-mails gave us a more accurate picture of opens, click-throughs, and conversions. The value per e-mail checked was considerably better than their competitors and even allowed you to manually check an e-mail address in addition to uploading an entire list. I also appreciated the variety of integrations including via JavaScript, WordPress widget, API usage, manually checking e-mails and their countless number of official integrations which was very impressive. They integrate with dozens of complementary services with documentation.
DeBounce did an overall good job for what they promised versus what they delivered. My main dislike is I used credits and didn't have the visibility into which domains applied. There is a feature that displays this information. However, it required using web-based API results, which was not intuitive.
Overall I didn't have any key dislikes.
DeBounce is a service I would recommend across different-sized companies and use cases. Good data in results in good data out, and with DeBounce, you can ensure e-mails are valid, which then results in a (more) accurate reading of opens, conversions, click-throughs, and reporting. I recommend DeBounce at any fast-growing company that depends on e-mails (which in my view is nearly everybody).
DeBounce solved multiple business problems, some of which I didn't know we had.
Most immediate and obvious was ability to qualify e-mails that were throwaways or fake prior to adding them to the list. This prevented bad data in the first place.
Secondly reviewing the lists we already had.
Third, the ability to check e-mails when the user is submitting the form was a benefit I under-appreciated; this keeps profiles from being saved and cutting down on one time user profiles. Almost a RECAPTCHA esque benefit.
The aggregate result was an increase in conversion rates, opens and purchases while reducing the overall quantity of our submissions (a big positive). This positively contributed to our bottom line.
