Advanced user of CloudifyI really enjoyed the possibility of automating the deployment of IT appliances so easily. It is also a great way to scale up IT environments in a fast way. It is also one of the few platforms that supports TOSCA templates. One more thing that I liked of Cloudify is that it is open source! Cloudify's Community Edition is a great tool to start automating IT services.
Nothing special to highlight as a downside... I would only suggest to provide a more detailed documentation of the product. Also, when I worked with the platform some APIs that I needed were't available... but honestly now I don't remember which API it was. It could be that Cloudify's team developed it in the meantime.
I had to compose and orchestrate all the IT Services of a military base in a completely automatic way to deploy new sites in a short period. I had to start from bare metal, passing by network and virtualization, to arrive to applications. Everything should have been done automatically. We used platforms as Cloudify, Ansible and Jenkins to achieve it.
