What do you like best?

It's very simple once you understand the terminology, Almost everything you could need help with is covered on their help site. It can be as hands-on or hands-off as you choose. They really leave it up to the customer to decide what level you want to be at. Do you want to be responsible for entering credit card information so you can keep track of your customer base or who has a credit card on file or would you rather set up a gateway and allow the customer to enter all their information? You have the choice to do one or both of these things at any time while using Authorize.net. You can charge a credit card and get immediate approval or rejection or you can set it up to process all credit card transactions at the end of the day. The turn around is very quick as well. The funds are in your account within a couple of days of charging a credit card.

What do you dislike?

The transactions can be broken up if you're not careful so you will have to be aware of that if you have prepared a deposit for a batch of credit card charges when looking for the corresponding deposit, If you deposit some before your cut off time and some after that will appear as two or more separate deposits in your bank account. This relevant to my company because we have to record the credit card processing fee Authorize.net charges as soon as we receive the deposit and this can be tricky when I have several deposits in the bank but they are combined in my system. The look of the invoices you can send out through Authorize.net as well as the receipts are very plain and you have little editing options.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We receive payment for things quicker and we have the ability to now take credit card payments so that alone is worth it.
